4.4 Select Recent News Coverage
- In 2018 Martin Amador Campbell worked to restore the Amador mausoleum at St. Genevive Catholic Church.
- 2021 the Las Cruces city council acting as the Las Cruces Tax Increment Development board approved $2 million to continue restoration of the Amador Hotel. The news piece notes that J. Paul Taylor played an important role in preventing the hotel from being destroyed during the urban renewal of the 1960’s.
- In 2022 NMSU Archives and Special Collections received a grant for $350,000 from the National Endowment for Humanities to digitize the collection of 15,000 documents in the Amador family collection.
